Magnolia’s new Purple Taro Milk is unique, delightful, and so taro-licious it must be… MAGIC.
PROTOCOL wanted to bring the Magnolia Magic to life with a unique KOL-amplified activation event. We engaged leading iPad magician Alexander Yuen to bring social media posts to life – literally – with a series of magic tricks where he extracted the actual product out of images on an iPad. (You have to watch it to understand it.)
We also worked with content partners such as SGAG and TSL to share real-time content via Instagram stories during the activation.
The activation achieved 403,960 accounts reached and over 500k impressions based on total number of IG stories, with numerous positive interactions and tangible excitement amongst the fans.
Our post-event coverage video of the magician activation went viral as well, with 125 shares reaching over 230K people and 50 over comments that were largely positive.
